Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This page explains clearly what information we collect when you use OnSide, why we need it, who can see it, and how you stay in control.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email and profile picture. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email and picture from Google — nothing else in your Google account (no emails, files or contacts).
  • Profile details you add yourself, such as your level, position, area, a short bio, and your WhatsApp number if you add it.
  • Your activity on OnSide: matches you book or join, ratings, friends, squads, posts and comments.
  • Payment details: if you upload a transfer receipt (e.g. CliQ), we store the receipt image so an admin can confirm the payment. We never store card numbers or bank details.

Why we use it

  • To run your account, book your matches and balance teams.
  • To send you notifications and reminders about your matches.
  • To protect OnSide from abuse and fake accounts.
  • We never sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.

Who can see it

  • Your public profile (name, picture, area, position, level, bio, stats, friends, squads and posts) can be seen by anyone visiting OnSide, and so can your name in the lineups of matches you book. Player pages are hidden from search engines.
  • Your email and WhatsApp number are never shown to other players; only admins see them, to contact you about a booking.
  • Posts are added to the feed automatically when you win MVP, earn a badge or join a squad.
  • OnSide admins and venue partners see what they need to run a match and confirm payments.
  • We rely on trusted providers to run the site: Supabase for data storage and sign-in (servers in the EU), Vercel for hosting, and Google for sign-in if you choose it.

How we protect it

  • All traffic to OnSide is encrypted (HTTPS).
  • We don't use passwords at all: you sign in with an email link or code, or with Google, so there is no password to leak.
  • The database is protected by strict access rules: each player can change only their own data, private details (email, WhatsApp, receipts) are reachable only by you and the admins, and sensitive actions check that an admin is asking.
  • Payment receipts are kept in private storage that only you and the admins can open.

Your rights

  • You can edit your details from your profile page at any time.
  • You can ask for a copy of your data or for your account and all its data to be deleted; we reply within 30 days.
  • If you signed in with Google, you can remove OnSide's access at any time from your Google account settings.

Cookies

  • We use only essential cookies: to keep you signed in and to remember your language and theme. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

  • If we change anything important, we'll update the date below and announce it on the site.
